I just got back from South by Southwest in Austin. I had A LOT more fun than I had originally expected. Big Thanks to Noelle, David and Becki Carr from Yarr Pr for letting me stay with them and showing me a good time. I saw too many bands to list. The Horrors, Pink Spiders and The Heart Attacks stand out. Listen to my South by Southwest review shows for a more detailed review of the bands that I saw. I also hung out with my out of town friends Michael Butler from The Rock and Roll Geek Show and Bryan Elliott from Hot Topic while I was there. I also ran into a bunch of friends from Detroit, like The Hard Lessons, The Paybacks, and The Gore Gore Girls....all bands that I've done print work for.

I just returned from Los Angeles, where I spoke at the Music 2.0 conference. I had such a great time. I was both excited and overwhelmed to be in the presence of so many great minds. The panel went well, but felt short.
I met some very nice people, some who I plan to keep in touch with. Tim Bourquin of TNC New Media, Michael Goeghegan from Gigavox and Bryan Elliott from Hot Topic and Rachel Segal from Music ip.
I was familar with Michael Goeghegan before meeting him, but I was amazed at how charismatic and well spoken he was during the panel discussion.
I read his book, Podcast Solutions , co-written by Dan Klass as soon as I returned home. 01.20.07

I'm proud to announce that I've been asked to speak at a music conference in Los Angeles.
The Conference is called Music 2.0 and it happens at the end of this month.
The list of speakers that I'll be included with is very impressive....
Presidents, Vice Presidents, CEOs, etc from Yahoo!, Virgin Mobile USA , AOL Music, Hollywood Records (Disney), Lionsgate, Sirius Satellite Radio, Sony, Universal and the list just goes on.

I Spent Hours on The Site Today, Creating and Placing Some Images To Make Things More Accessible. I Was Happy With The Results. Everything Displayed Nicely In My Safari Browser, But When I Checked it In Firefox, it Was Just a Mess.
Right Now, I Have To Print Stickers For The Podaholics and a Bass Drum Head for Mayuko of The Gore Gore Girls. I'll Have To Fix The New Site Graphics Later.
